Long time Chelsea Hotel resident and mystery writer Sparkle Hayter has started a campaign to Bring Back the Bards. Here’s how you can join. Make a banner and take of photo of it and add it to the Bring Back the Bards flickr pool. A good place to take pictures of your banner if you are in New York might be in the lobby of the hotel or behind the front desk. But the most impressive thing about this campaign is that people are doing it all over the world! The photo below is from Canada.
This is inspired by the banner on the building and by Cinci Natalie’s brilliant Bard button. But that link is actually to my flickr photo page. The link to the photo group is:
The photos are downloadable, printable and bloggable. If you have photoshop or similar software, you can turn them into postcards and send them to… whomever might most appreciate them.
You have to join flickr.com (it’s free) to be able to post to the group, but if you prefer, you can email them to me to post when I have a chance:

I can’t take credit for the banner, nor the photo of the banner. Some other pro-Bard person or person put that up, bless their hearts, to inspire the rest of us. Please make your own sign or button and post it the flickr group. We also have a few people who are making videos. We’ll post a video still in the flickr group and link it to the vid on youtube and daily motion.
