Everytime we turn around this sign is in the elevator. We’re getting pretty tired of it. Could one of you artsy types make a new one?
Remember, August 20 is the date that the courts will decide if Elder is fit to walk among men. Since neither the Chelsea nor Piri Thomas wants anything to do with him, lets hope the judge employs the wisdom of Solomon — and chops Elder in half.

must have designed by David Elder himself in order to make the hotel residents look like real lowlifes

Right.I’m sure David Elder went to the trouble to make fun of himself like that. Gee, could it be that the hotel actually HAS some residents who ARE real lowlifes? You know, sometimes “creative types” aren’t as creatively clever or funny as they think they are. It wouldn’t be the first time childish behavior has been exhibited by the adults who live at the hotel.
And for the record, I live here and not once have I EVER seen that sign in the elevators.
Putting signs like that up in the elevator isn’t going to change ANYTHING. In fact, if the person who wrote the above comment thinks that it makes the hotel residents look like real lowlifes (despite trying to blame it on Elder himself), that’s the appearance it’s giving people who are completely against new management.
Grow up people. I’m sure new management is taking account of all the juvenile things residents do so they can use it against us in the future. As a resident, I’m not happy about this and I know others feel the same way. Don’t placate new management by giving them fuel for their fire.
Here’s an idea: use your creativity in an intelligent, adult manor that could have some REAL impact on the situation.LikeLike

It’s not the height of creativity, but then, it is not undeserved either. You sound like an uptight school marma in need of a lax noname. How did you ever get into the hotel with your stiff backed, finger-shaking pro-business attitude? Why don’t you lead by example. Show us some creative protest if you truly care about the hotel as you say.

What you just wrote shows you no NOTHING about me. And besides, there are a LOT of “nonames” on this blog. What makes you think that ALL the nonames are the SAME? I happen to know for a fact that they AREN’T.
How did I get into the hotel? Stanley wanted me to come here and wanted me to stay. That’s how.
I don’t feel the need to protest anything in the ways you think I should be protesting at the moment. I did do some creative protesting, I just don’t need to take credit for everything I do by announcing it on the blog in a “look at me, I matter, I’m protesting the takeover!” There are a LOT of residents who haven’t protested a word on the blog or in any other way, shape or form…does that mean they’re happy about it and are for new management? I guess it does to you, though, as usual, YOU are wrong.
I can face certain facts and don’t need to throw a tantrum blabbering a bunch of things that are easily proved inaccurate. I’m a rational adult. Too bad David Bard wasn’t kept on. He too was a rational adult and would have taken over the helm with class.LikeLike

Let’s get back to the “Still Unwanted” David Elder. His court date is set for 8/20. That is is this coming Monday. I am praying that he gets his trusteeship taken away from him. I am praying he gets what he deserves…. What goes around, comes around. No matter how many new management companies come into the hotel, this amoral man does not belong.

I noticed that the link to the Save Piri Thomas Page is gone from this blog. I did find the page, but there have been no updates. Does anyone know the outcome of David Elder’s hearing on 8/20?
