Milwaukee alterna band Fever Marlene wrote and recorded their second album, "White China" (Is that like the heroin man? Shades of Lou Reed!), over a four night stay in room 219 at the Chelsea . The 10 song album features a DVD documentary of the writing process and a photo journal. "White China" is set to be released on March 7, 2008.

People playing guitars in the stairwell? I’m surprised B[&]D didn’t call the NYPD and have them shipped to Guantanamo for subversive activities…

just because they record in, the hotel chelsea, doesn’t mean they are talented.
does anyone in the last 30 years understand that concept?LikeLike

Good or not, they didn’t have any visions or see any ghosts while they were here —

They are good. Am happy to add them to the list of so MANY talented people who worked in the Chelsea in the last 30 years. No, “Dave,” not everyone who lived and/or worked in the Chelsea was talented, though many were. Some were interesting. Some were kind. Some were strange. All said, Stanley Bard had a better sense of talent than BD or the minority shareholders have ever displayed or likely ever will.

this band is GREAT
heard them in Madison, Minn. and Summerfest in Milwaukee
I would go anywhere to see them perform live
have all their cds
more talent in their little finger than most bands out there
NYPD would have enjoyed the musicLikeLike
