Sorry lady, but we do not run the Hotel!

See you in court soon. I stayed at your hotel on saturday april,26,2008. There was no manager there my room was infested with bed bugs, which i was bit in the face. I paid 300.00 for the nigth and had to leave and go down the block to another hotel. at 2:30 in the morning.Your employee gave me a letter head from your hotel stating that the manager would put my money back on, BECAUSE I HAD TO PAY THE OTHER HOTEL 250.00 AND THAT WAS A DISCOUNT,BECAUSE THEY FELT SORRY FOR US WHAT HAD HAPPENED. Iam making a big deal out of this just because you arent honest. By the way the news will know about this too.

PS: thank god for cell phones I will bring my pictures with me to court.

    Do you think this is an inside job Ed? I read some crappy reviews when Stanley was the manager but ever since he was given the boot the reviews have been down right outlandish! Could someone be passing time writing bad reviews??? Whats Elder been doing behind closed doors?

    Check the Hotellog book. The problem may be that David Elder is not having the exterminator come around as frequently as before.

    My daughter just spent $3000 on exterminating bed bugs after our visit at the Chelsea (I helped with the expense). I didn’t have the same problem since I was diligent about keeping my luggage closed while I was there. I know that these creatures are hard to control, however, with good housekeeping and constant upkeep it is possible to keep these creatures under some control. It can be as easy as using a pet and people friendly intervention with diatomaceous earth (DE)sprayed into crevices and electrical outlets. I felt like I was crawling during my nights at the Chelsea, however, I thought perhaps that it was only the Ghosts!!! The thought of having to sleep with bedbugs is nowhere as difficult as trying to sleep with the glass rattling sound of the Star Lounge. I still love the Chelsea and will return simply because I respect the residents past and present. I will always keep the luggage closed…

    i was In the hotel with my boy friend in august !
    the staff was great… No bugs in the room !
    We were in the janis joplin room… so exciting. (and a very comfortable room )
    the first night, i fall of the bed (which is high ) …and i’ve nevr falled of my bed…sure it was Janis ghost’s pushing me of the bed !
    and…even the bugs are arty in the Chelsea !

    Can’t even count the amount of times I have stayed at the Chelsea the past few months. Never a problem.
