A lot of people have noticed that Artie Nash recently replaced the tattered "Bring Back the Bards" banners with one large banner. So we asked Artie what gives? Here's what he said: "Well, streamlining the message, and consolidating the banners. But mostly just keeping some fresh paint in rotation, and switching to a weatherproof banner for the winter. The first ones were hanging so long they'd begun to disintegrate. This one is oil on vinyl canvas so it'll be there awhile. This one was contributed by a nyc artist named brian cunningham."

Put up a banner that says “WHERE IS PIRI’S MILLION BUCKS?”
David Elder is an out-and-out thief who stole the Chelsea Hotel away from a beloved NYC icon, Stanley Bard (what Elder wishes he could be) and stole over a million dollars from his elderly stepfather (who Elder hopes will die soon).

People are def getting the message – the banners do let people know that, once again, theres controversy inside Chelsea walls. We face twenty third street and every week can see hundreds of tourists shooting photos of them. In fact its doubtful a photo of the beloved Chelsea exists (after Stanley was booted) without the banners. But then, not a day of peace and tranquility has existed here since Stanley left, either.

Yes, Piri’s Millions, you are right. David Elder is scum, and seems to specialize in ripping off elderly men.
