Noel  Ashman today swore up and down to a reporter from dnainfo.com that he wasn't planning on opening anything in the Chelsea Hotel.  That's funny, since why else would his name be on the liquor license for Star Lounge which is in the Chelsea Hotel.  Furthermore, we were at a community board meeting just last Monday where Charles Ferri, the owner of Star Lounge, stated that Neil Ashman would be involved in Star Lounge and that this would clean things up and it would be a more respectable venue than it has of late.  Is somebody trying to pull a fast one here? And if so, is it  Neil Ashcan, Charles Ferri, or David Elder.  Click on the download link to download a copy of the liquor license and see for yourself. Download Nool Ashman

Blergh! Who wants to be respectable in their eyes? I think I just vomited in my mouth a little bit.

I’d like to point out that they plan to be in operation from 6pm – 4am, seven nights a week. That demonstrates an incredible disregard by management for tenants in the building who actually have to get a good nights sleep, and go to work in order to pay rent, as well as the guests who would like to enjoy their sleep as well. Star Lounge has been mismanaged for years, wherein, if the fights, and screaming of the occupants doesn’t keep you from sleeping, the goon door-man will awaken you when he peels out as he leaves. You won’t need an alarm clock.

Ferri allegedly fired one loudmouth security guard in particular but there he was –still working– at 4:30 this morning when three NYPD squad cars showed up to chase away the lounge’s unruly, fighting, shouting, honking, double parked, hip-hopping “patrons”.
Its incredible that Ferri can rope investors for the Star Lounge when its public knowledge he and the lounge are being sued for 20 million

Better check that application for “materially false” statements! They’re going around!
