Hotel staff have completed their meeting with the Union officials. The union reps report that they are to be notified as soon as the deal has closed. There are indications that Chetrit's inability to secure financing has put the deal in jeopardy.

All the union people are reported ‘laid-off’, if the sale doesn’t go through at 3pm. Two engineers will handle all duties including garbage pick-up. No housekeeping.

Cutting off all transient income and taking the building to a skeleton crew… pulling out the art… and choking the sewer lines the residents depend on… hmmm… something nasty seems to be afoot.

Tamasar was heard saying on separate occasions today, that the residents were responsible for smashing the 1st floor window and that the workers were responsible for pouring cement in the sewer main. Sounds like good old-fashioned union-busting, ganster-style, to me.
