Scott was great, and it sounds like WBAI is going to do an expanded one hour show focussing on the Chelsea situation. One of the excellent points he made concerned Stanley’s extra level of service, introducing him (and me and others) to Arnold Weinstein, Arthur Miller, Robert Altman, William Bolcom, Joan Morris, etc. Stanley was like a honeybee pollinating the flowers.

What’s frighting, Anonymous? The fact that somebody would actually stand up and support the well-worn traditions of the Chelsea Hotel? Whats frightening is that everyone doesn’t, so it falls to others to fight their battles.

I listened with interest to the radio broadcast and will be doing so with the extended version. I thought Scott fought your corner very well although I can not understand anyone siding with this new management whether residents, visitors, nationals or internationals. As I have said more than once, I am so glad I got to stay at the Chelsea before it totally gets smothered by the new management. Hopefully it can still be saved, I am just sorry I never got to meet the famous Stanley. I am spreading the word in the UK for you guys and wish you all success. I will follow the battle with interest and if there is anything I can do to help from over the pond – just holla
